ships carrying aid to gaza or ships attacking israel's defensive lines ? 10 clarifications anyone interested in the middle east should know

Almost 10 hours after the beginning of the takeover of the
ships by israeli IDF, and facts are still not clear.
Not knowing the facts has never bothered politicians or
journalists from making decisive statements.
It is true that always, when soldiers confront civilians,
the result of dead civilians will seem unjustified, horrible,
cruel, and the state sending those soldiers will be percieved
in incriminating colors.
This is especially true when the soldiers are a part of an
army that occupies a territory, and the protesting civilians
are deemed a part of an effort to bring aid to the weak and
oppressed within the occupied area.
The only problem is that all of the facts mentioned until
this part of this post are partial. There are parts of the
puzzle that are missing. Without those pieces, a true
understanding of events shall be impossible, and interested
persons will be able to create a false image, to their advantage.
the facts:
1) the aid flotilla is not taking place in a neutral zone.
Gaza is not a peaceful area .
2) Israel has withdrawn from Gaza in 2005, leaving any
terrirotry in that area in the hands of the palestinians.
3) Hamas has taken control of Gaza in 2006, violently,
from the hands of Fatah, the democratically chosen
leadership of the palestinians.
It has refused to accept the past agreements between Israel
and the palestinians or to recognize Israel's right of existence.
4) In 2007, following repeated missile attacks on Israeli towns and
villages neighbouring Gaza, Israel invaded the Gaza strip,
in a powerful and brutal set of operations, after which
a ceasefire agreement was reached, and israel has withrdrawn
again from Gaza.
5) Hamas still holds a kidnapped israeli soldier, Gilad Shalit,
since 2006, as a prisoner of war, and denies him of
rights to Red Cross visitations, and passes almost no
information regarding his health and well being.
Hamas continually attempts to rearm, by weapon and ammunition
shipments from any possible source, mean and in any possible way.
6) In response to the events described above
(at sections 4 & 5),
Israel has retaken control on all of Gaza's external
borders, and is since then inspecting every kind of
merchandise entering the Gaza strip, and forbids
bringing into the area many things. This closure is
supported by egypt, who borders Gaza from the south.
7) Life in Gaza is hard. It has never been easy to live there.
Gaza is one of the most populated areas in the world,
it is an area that has known many armed collisions between the IDF and
palestinian armed organizations, and it is currently ruled by an
inexperienced organization that is putting the struggle with Israel at
its top priorities, while care of the civilans who live under its rule
come at a second place, if not worse.
Although almost 3 years have passed since the 2007 IDF operations
in Gaza, it has not been completely reconstructed yet. Hamas accuses
Israel closure, but fact is that in any other area in the world that has
known destruction, the process of rebuilding has never been dependant only
on external import of goods. the local operations is the most critical factor,
and sadly, Hamas uses local populations hardships and damages from the war
as a means for proaganda, very much the same way palestinian refugees were
used by arab countries, following the 1948 war.
However, there is no famine in Gaza. Israel and Egypt allow the
passage of large quantities of food and stocks into the strip, on
a daily basis.
8) The organizers of the aid flotilla were offered on many opportunities to pass
the aid, through an Israeli port, under Israeli supervision (to prevent arms and
stuff that can be used to construct explosives) into the Gaza strip. These
suggestions by Israel were denied. Why ? after all, if situation in Gaza is so severe,
as organizers claim, wasn't it more important to make sure the stuff was
passed to the people, than to make sure that the israeli closure was broken ?
9) The manner at which the flotilla was managed, the insistence on
breaking the Israeli closure is a clear indication of their political
Agenda. These are no peace activists. These are Pro-Palestinian
activists.
flotilla died. It is clear that the claims of the activists that the soldiers came
on board shooting are not proven yet. It is also clear that the claims
of the soldiers who made the raid, regarding activists shooting at them with guns,
attacking them with knives and other cold arms are not proven yet.
Being aware of the clarifications I've made thus far, one would expect anyone
interested in making a statement on the subject, to be a little patient, and wait
for the facts to be established.
The problem is that at a world of political conflict, the public's opinion is one
of the fields of war, and instead of truths, we are seeing and hearing propaganda.
I suggest anyone with a sound mind, to bear patience, and avoid making his mind
on the matter, before clear and precise evidence is presented.
Let the naked truth out for a change.
p.s
Israel's closure wis legal by internation law, btw.
Israel is still occupying these territories,
having taken them by military force from the hands
of Egypt in 1967, and having retaking control of air and borders of
the strip, following the events described above, and as the strip is
currently held by an organization that is a self-proclaimed enemy
of Israel, and no longer by an organization that is interested in
reaching peace with Israel, as Fatah.
