Palestinians demonstrate their perception of co-existence - again

Haaretz reports a sad story, which teaches a lot about the way some of the Palestinians view co-existence. Richard Stallman, the American software freedom activist, was invited by Palestinian universities to come and lecture. They promised to finance his trip. He used the opportunity, while being in the area, to promise some lectures in Israeli universities. The Palestinians have heard about this, and threatened him to cancel the lectures in Israel or lose the finance for his trip. As a "true" freedom activist, he surrendered and canceled his lectures in Israel.

When you hear next of Palestinians complain about Israeli's being suspicious about their intentions, remember this little story. These small things make up co-existence. When one side is not willing to accept the other benefiting from his actions, the other is justified in fearing for the future.
