- מארגנים משמר אזרחי בדרום ת"א, שתפקידו השבת הבטחון של התושבים אשר הופרע לכאורה על ידי זרם הפליטים מאפריקה (נתקלתי בדיווח הזה הודות לדיווח בנושא בבלוג החברים של ג'ורג').
- משטרת ישראל לא מבינה שתפקידה להגן על זכויות אדם, ולא לפגוע בהן.
- עוד ראש-ממשלה ישראלי מתקשה, ככל הנראה, לממן את נסיעותיו בעצמו.
- שר החוץ של ארגנטינה מסרב להכחיש את הידיעה על מו"מ בין ארגנטינה לאיראן, על עיסקה לפיה הסחר בין המדינות יורחב, וארגנטינה תוותר על המשך חקירת מעורבות איראן בפיגועים כנגד יהודים וישראלים בארגנטינה, מעורבות עליה הצביע שירות הבטחון הארגנטינאי, ובגינה הוצאו צווי מעצר כנגד 4 דיפלומטים איראנים.
- הילארי קלינטון (בנסיון נואש לנמק מדיניות חוץ אמריקאית שנועדה להביא לאי-התערבות במפרץ הפרסי) מסבירה מדוע לא תהיה התערבות בינלאומית בטבח האזרחים בסוריה, תוך שימוש בנימוקים - בשאר אסאד הוא רפורמטור והרג האזרחים בסוריה הוא פעולות שיטור שנעשה בהן שימוש מופרז בכוח.
הייתי יכול להביא עוד, אבל ה-1 באפריל בכל זאת צריך להיות יום נעים יותר.
Some news items of recent time that we'd like to have been an April Fool's jest, but they are real... what a shame....
- A civil guard is being organized in southern Tel-Aviv, to restore the safety of the citizens which is allegedly disturbed by the influx of refugees from Africa (surprisingly, this bizarre yet bothersome piece of news has not been reported in foreign media at all. Here is a link to the Hebrew news, scanned by the operator of the Israeli Leftist blog Friends-of-George).
- Israeli Police does not understand its role is to protect human rights, not harm them.
- Another Israeli Prime Minister apparently has difficulties financing his travels by himself.
- Argentina's foreign minister refuses to deny the news regarding an ongoing negotiation between Argentina and Iran, over a deal which will broaden the trade between the two countries, and will bring to an end the continued Argentinian investigation of Iran's involvement in the Terror bombings of Jewish and Israeli buildings in Argentina, an investigation which reached the stage of arrest warrants for Iranian diplomats and officials.
- US Secretary of state, Hillary Clinton (desperately attempting to give reasons for the US foreign policy which aims at non-intervention in the Persian Gulf) explains why there won't be an international intervention in the citizens massacre taking place in Syria, and gives the reasons of Bashar Al-Assad being a reformer and the civilians' killing in Syria being police actions that "have exceeded the use of force".
I could bring more, but the 1st of April should be a happier day than other days, after all.
