World media reports that Syrian armed forces have escalated their oppression efforts against the civilian protests held all across Syria, against the current regime, and in favor of the protection of human and political rights in the country. In plain words: they are using Tanks against civilians. While matters in Libya are still complicated, it is clear that the international community's intervention, has prevented the end of the protests and the end of the rebellion. Now the question that was relevant to Libya, is becoming relevant to Syria: is the world going to stand aside ? with all due respect to the fears to the stability of the region, and fears from Al-Qaeda, these cannot be legitimate arguments which enable a tyrant to slaughter his own people. The time has come for international involvement in Syria.
