The Dalai-Lama has announced that he will step down from his role as the political leader of the exile Tibetan government.
Only time will tell if this is only a preparation for the interval-period expected after his Holiness moves on from this life and until a 15th Dalai-Lama is found (and we wish the 14th Dalai-Lama many more years with us on this planet), or if this is a fundamental change in the political struggle of the Tibetan people for independence from the Chinese occupation.
